When it comes to LFW KTZ is one of my favourite runway designers. The Autumn/winter 2013 collection was one of the very first shows I attended back in February 2013, and the collection is one of my favourites from KTZ to date! I particularly like the use of patterns used throughout the pieces. Here are a few shots I took:

Vans & Bape & Chanel
It was around summer when I decided to customise a pair of old Vans I had lying about. I applied a Chanel logo on one shoe and a Bape logo on the other. This was simply done by using fabric paint which was applied to the canvas shoe. What do you think?

Bespoke shoe
Since as long as I can remember I have always loved creating/designing things. I recently created this native shoe that was inspired by Visvim. I started of with a pair of Clarks Original wallabees. I then lined the inner shoe with sheep skin and used off white destroyed material to create an overhang around the back part of the shoe. I used plastic and wooden beads made using twigs from my back garden, and simply painted a cross on each bead to act as lace tips. Leather shoe lace was used throughout and all the materials for this shoe were either recycled or lying around my house. Only the shoe was bought!

Art Comes First
The pieces on display at the exhibit were truly amazing! The way in which different blazers and jackets were cut and put together to form one piece. I particularly like Lamberts way of thinking, no garment should go to waste! If the arms of a jacket were used for one piece then the body of that same jacket will be used elsewhere for example to make a waistcoat.

KTZ (Kokontozai) ss14 show
The ss14 womenswear collection "draws attention to the traditions, and migrations of nomadic cultures and their impact on today's society".
I thought the collection was superb. I particularly liked the infusion of the Middle Eastern culture to some pieces; that looked to be the inspiration of this collection.
The models outfit second in looks to be inspired by the traditional veil. With the face being totally covered and only eyes on display.
These looks being more like the KTZ we are used to. The addition of the metal work on the pieces is a nice touch!
The floral printed material used for this outfit was beautiful; which is very common in eastern parts of the world, such as India.
